Orinda Barbera grapes looking for a winemaker too

    I have about 90-vines of Barbera looking for a winemaker. Like Vick and his Cab grapes. I’ve seen a couple more posts about grapes without a home.

    Any idea how many small growers there are like us who aren’t big enough to support a big wine making operation?

    Would there be any sense in discussing a coop for small growers?

  • Has anyone been over to Shadowbrook Winery in Walnut Creek?  Tim, owner and winemaker, seems interested in additional grapes.
